At Christ Church Endcliffe we believe that all people are made in the image of God, and therefore we seek to safeguard children who come into our care. We have a role to protect children young people and vulnerable adults from abuse; whether physical, emotional, sexual or neglect. It is the responsibility of any of our members working with children and young people to prevent and report any abuse suspected or discovered.
In the event that you are concerned about the immediate safety of a child or adult, call 999 and ask for the police.
Our Safeguarding Children Officer is Iona Shepherd who can be contacted through this website (endcliffechurch.co.uk/get-in-touch), or through the church office telephone on 07968 980554.
Our Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Officer is Andrew White, who again can be contacted through this website, or through the church office telephone on 07968 980554.
If you can’t get hold of Iona, or need to contact the diocese directly, then details can be found here: https://www.sheffield.anglican.org/safeguarding. The Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser is Linda Langthorne and can be contacted by phone on 01709 309149.
